About Hua Hin

Welcome To Hua Hin

Hua Hin, Thailand’s original beach resort is one of eight districts (amphoe) of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province in the northern part of the Malay Peninsula in Thailand, located just 200kms from Bangkok.

Hua Hin is no palm-fringed castaway island, and those of us that live and love it here, would agree it is all the better for that.  With a refreshing mix of city and sea, Hua Hin enjoys a very cosmopolitan feel, and the lively markets, international cuisine, world class golf courses and excellent accommodation certainly add to the ambience.

Although affluent holidaymakers are well catered for with many upmarket hotels such as Hilton and Centara Grand, Hua Hin is still a great budget destination. Public transport is inexpensive and convenient, and seafood is plentiful and cheap.  For those looking for some retail therapy, Bluport shopping mall opened in October 2016, is a shoppers’ paradise.

It is no surprise that Hua Hin was included in The Daily Telegraph’s list of top five emerging holiday destinations:-

“If you crave a beach getaway far from the crowds of the large cities, here is the place to soak up the sun, sand and gleaming beaches.

Take a 2.5 hour transfer from Bangkok and you arrive at Hua Hin with its fancy hotels to take care of your every whim. Take a leaf out of the Royal family’s book, they have been holidaying there since the 1920s.”

We couldn’t have put it better ourselves……!
